Restart Micro-Enterprise Inc. is a non-profit microfinance institution established in 2016 to provide disaster-responsive financial solutions. Originally born from a USAID-funded recovery initiative, RestartME has grown into a nationwide resilience platform, working hand-in-hand with microfinance institutions (MFIs) to ensure that disaster-affected communities are able to restart with dignity.

Knowledge shared. Capital extended.
Stronger microfinance (MFIs). Stronger communities.
It all starts with #RESTARTME.

  • Timely and affordable recovery capital to MFIs in the aftermath of natural or manmade disasters. Structured with flexible terms to ensure financial viability and borrower resilience.

  • We enable MFIs to strengthen their lending capabilities, co-design recovery solutions, and build institutional resilience through partner dialogues, knowledge exchange, and on-ground insights.

  • Innovating on recovery financing by supporting shelter needs, piloting post-disaster housing loan products alongside livelihood financing.
